What's in a brand? That is the question of the ages. Branding and Identity creation are loaded issues with respect to graphic design and marketing. There are things to consider such as colors, font families, iconography, and messaging to name a few. A graphic designer's job is to anticipate what sort of personal baggage a viewer will bring with them when experiencing an identity and brand for the first time. A graphic designer must predict how the average person will interpret the meaning of a brand and its image in order to be successful.
