Eternal Crusade Fan Art: Chaos Knife Concept Drawing

Greetings all,

Here I have another fan art weapons concept drawing for the upcoming Eternal Crusade video game from bvhr interactive.

This is a quick sketch, inked, and then shaded with pencil. The final effect was applied from a simple photo editor. Maybe about 4-6 hour drawing with no references used.

The concept here is that this blade absorbs the souls of those it slays in battle. After which those souls' writhing faces swirl upon the corrupted surface of the chaotic blade, seeming to ask those that gaze upon them for release. Known to many as a fearsome battlefield relic, this chaos space marine kris has been dubbed:

"Chaos Death Blade  of Thirsting"
