Just a quick post here about the attempt at painting a Primaris Space Marine as a member of the traitor legion Nightlords. Not sure I like the model as much as I like painting true Chaos Marines, but it was still fun. It was one of my attempts using those new Contrast paints. Enjoy!

Wanted to share this lot I have been working on recently. I wanted to repaint to a suitable level these old Chaos Space Marine Terminator boiz as a newer Nightlords army I am going to be expanding for my entire collection of Chaos Warhammer 40,000 Models. Finally got to a place that I am calling them done. Learned a lot in this process. Also, grew a lot as well. This is a collection of decent photos with them. Enjoy! (No, I did not strip them first).

By now, you probably noticed that Primaris conversion...he was painted at the same time using the new Contrast paints as a test subject.

A little filtering here...

Just did a reshoot for a June 2020 warhammer painting competition and wanted to post here. This is a converted kit of a Soulgrinder model with some extra firepower on its one claw arm, a pincer limb covered in gore, and also some gratifying blood spatter. Loved doing this one. Finally got a few photos to do it justice. Enjoy!

This tank was the brainchild of my 15, or so year old self, my love for the hobby, my love for chaos and nurgle and going all out, and pieces from my brother's kits. It combines parts from old Space Marine tanks, three chassis parts from a rhino tank, trads from two tanks, two dozer blades, two lascannons and two hunter seeker missiles, two heavy flamers, a twin linked lascannon turrent, rear facing bolters, and those old buff-giving searchlights. At least I think they did. This is a reshoot fo the model to give it more respect than it ever got.

I gleefully called it "Baptizer" and even wrote 3rd (?) edition rules for it on an old word processor.
